How to run it

Three steps, about a minute.

  1. Connect RoASr to Claude or ChatGPT

Create an API key in RoASr and add the RoASr MCP server. Access is read-only: the prompt cannot change anything in your ad accounts.

  2. Paste the prompt

Copy the text below into a new chat.

  3. Answer a few questions

The prompt asks only what it cannot find itself, then reads your data and answers in a fixed format.

The prompt

Before you start, ask me about each [input] below — one question at a time, with ready-made answers to pick from; skip whatever you can already tell.

Audit the Search hygiene of the Google Ads account [account: if not listed, call roasr_list_accounts and let me pick] of [client: if not listed, call roasr_list_clients and let me pick] and score it on the RoASr checklist.

1. **Load the RoASr method.** Call roasr_load_skill('roasr_frame'), roasr_load_skill('google_search') and roasr_load_skill('audit_scoring') and follow them exactly.
2. **Frame the data.** Call roasr_limits, roasr_list_clients and roasr_list_accounts: plan, niche, margin, KPI, account currency, sync status and dataSince. Audit [window: last 30 days (default) | last 14 days | last 90 days | custom]. If the window starts before dataSince, say so and narrow it. If the sync is failed or never, stop: no conclusions without data. Use accountId on every call below.
3. **Campaigns.** roasr_metrics_campaigns at campaign level: spend, conversions, CPA or ROAS. Decide which campaigns are Search from settings and data, not from names; if the data cannot tell, say so and treat the signals below as the source.
4. **Search terms.** roasr_signals with kind google_search_terms (limit 200). Find terms with real spend and no conversions: for example at least 2x the target CPA, or roughly 30 clicks without a conversion, whichever the account's volume supports. Separate brand from generic from clearly irrelevant intent. For each wasteful theme propose a negative keyword and a match type (exact for one bad query, phrase for a whole theme) and warn if the phrase could also block converting queries.
5. **Quality Score.** roasr_signals with kind google_keywords_qs (limit 200): keywords with Quality Score of 5 or lower that carry meaningful spend. Name the weak component for each (expected CTR, ad relevance, landing page experience) and the matching fix.
6. **Impression share.** roasr_signals with kind google_impression_share: lost to budget versus lost to rank, per campaign. Lost to budget with healthy CPA is a candidate for more budget; suggest moving about N% of spend from clear waste, not "raise the budget". Lost to rank points to quality or bids, not budget.
7. **Bidding.** roasr_signals with kind google_bidding: strategy per campaign against its conversion volume. Smart bidding on very few conversions is a risk, and manual bidding on a large, stable volume is a missed option; say "roughly" about volume thresholds.
8. **Score.** Go through the Google Ads part of the audit_scoring checklist. Mark every check pass, warning, fail or n/a; what the data cannot show is n/a, never a fail. Give the total score and its band.

**Output:** open with one sentence: score, band and the biggest source of waste. Then a table by checklist category: category · score · main evidence. Then a table of negative candidates: term · spend · clicks · conversions · match type · risk. Then 5–8 actions grouped High / Medium / Nice-to-have with the expected effect. Format of the negatives list: [output format: chat (default) | table for Excel | Google Ads Editor CSV]. For the CSV give only negative keywords as plain text with the columns Campaign, Keyword, Criterion Type (Negative Exact or Negative Phrase), so I can review and import them myself.

**Output rules:**
- Recommendations only — never apply changes; RoASr tools are read-only.
- Signals are the latest snapshot per account; do not aggregate payloads of different accounts.
- Auction and search term data is a noisy sample: do not call a term "bad" on a handful of clicks.
- Answer in the language of this prompt.
