How to run it

Three steps, about a minute.

  1. Connect RoASr to Claude or ChatGPT

Create an API key in RoASr and add the RoASr MCP server. Access is read-only: the prompt cannot change anything in your ad accounts.

  2. Paste the prompt

Copy the text below into a new chat.

  3. Answer a few questions

The prompt asks only what it cannot find itself, then reads your data and answers in a fixed format.

  4. Guides in the blog

The prompt

Before you start, ask me about each [input] below — one question at a time, with ready-made answers to pick from; skip whatever you can already tell.

Review the Performance Max asset groups of [client: if not listed, call roasr_list_clients and let me pick]: which groups work, which assets hold them back, and what to replace or add.

1. **Load the RoASr method.** Call roasr_load_skill('roasr_frame') and roasr_load_skill('google_pmax') and follow them exactly.
2. **Frame the data.** Call roasr_limits, roasr_list_clients and roasr_list_accounts: plan, niche, margin, KPI, account currencies, sync status and dataSince. Use [window: last 30 days (default) | last 14 days | last 90 days | custom]. If the window starts before dataSince, say so and narrow it. If currency.mixed is true, never sum money across accounts; work account by account. Name any account whose sync is failed or never and draw no conclusions from it.
3. **Find the PMax campaigns.** roasr_metrics_campaigns, campaign level, limit 200: spend, conversions, CPA, ROAS. Identify Performance Max by campaign type and settings in the data, not by the name. If there are none, say so and stop.
4. **Pull the asset groups.** roasr_signals with kind google_asset_groups, limit 200: spend, conversions and value per asset group. Each account is its own snapshot; do not merge payloads. Compare asset groups by CPA or ROAS only when each has enough conversions (30 or more in the window); otherwise rank by spend share and mark "not enough data". [focus: all asset groups (default) | top 5 by spend | only groups without conversions | custom]
5. **Pull the assets.** roasr_signals with kind google_asset_performance, limit 200: performance labels (Best, Good, Low, Learning, Pending). Low is a verdict only for assets with meaningful impressions; Learning and Pending are not verdicts. A Low asset is replaced, not just removed, because the group needs its minimum asset counts to serve.
6. **List the gaps per group.** Missing formats limit inventory: no video, fewer than 5 images, fewer than 5 headlines. List what each asset group lacks.
7. **Handle the limits honestly.** PMax does not expose clean channel splits or search terms at full fidelity. Never claim how much went to Display, YouTube or Search unless the data says so. If brand terms might also run in brand Search, flag the possible overlap as a test to run, not as a fact.

**Output:** open with one sentence — which asset group is the strongest, which is the weakest, and the main fix. Then one table per campaign: asset group · spend · conversions · CPA or ROAS · weakest assets · missing formats · recommendation (keep / refresh assets / rebuild / not enough data). Then 3–8 actions grouped High / Medium / Nice-to-have, each with the expected effect. A group with spend and no conversions at more than twice the account CPA is a candidate for a rebuild or a pause: the decision is mine.

**Output rules:**
- Recommendations only — never apply changes; RoASr tools are read-only.
- Do not invent channel-level numbers or search terms that the data does not contain.
- Money in each account's own currency; if the currency is unknown, say "in account currency" without a symbol.
- If the client has no margin set, talk ROAS and CPA, not profit.
- Answer in the language of this prompt.
